In this class, individuals will learn disability awareness and etiquette, technical accommodations and serving customers with special needs. But how do you select the candidate with the skills and personality that is a match for your company?  In this course, participants will examine guidelines for interviewing, candidate evaluation, handling challenging candidates and candidate selection. Participants will also explore functioning within the parameters of laws prohibiting discriminatory hiring practices.



Sexual Harassment Prevention
Sexual harassment is not only harmful, it's costly. Legal fees, negative media attention, poor morale and low productivity associated with sexual harassment, can ruin a company's reputation and severly impact the company's bottom line. Sexual harassment training is no longer a luxury utilized by forward thinking, proactive employers who wish to promote a positive workplace.  In this course, participants will learn what constitutes sexual harassment, unacceptable behaviors and how to respond if an incident is reported.  They will also learn explore the laws against, and the liabilities of, sexual harassment in the workplace.


Workplace Harassment Prevention
We know a company's reputation is a very fragile thing.  In this class, participants will define all forms of unlawful harassment-verbal or physical conduct based on race, color, religion, sex whether or  not of a sexual nature (same-gender harassment and gender identity harassment), national origin, age, disability and sexual orientation.  Participants will also learn employer/employee liability for harassment, understanding the psychological and sociological impact of harassment, what to do if a complaint is made and what managers can to prevent harassment and reduce liability.
